541.09 DESTRUCTION OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY.
   (a)   No person shall purposely, knowingly, recklessly or negligently, by the operation of a motor vehicle or otherwise, destroy or damage any property of the Municipality or property maintained or repaired by the Municipality, including fire hydrants; electrical light poles or equipment thereof; traffic control signals; sidewalks, pavement or any survey or monument; emergency or public safety vehicles, motor vehicles or parts thereof; and street signs and traffic control devices.
   (b)   Any person arrested for a violation of any provision of this section may be required to post a bond securing his or her appearance at the trial therefor in such amount as the Chief of Police deems necessary.

   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
