Council may provide, by ordinance, for full-time or part-time officers of the Finance Department, as necessary, and shall establish such compensation for those officers as it deems appropriate. The officers may be denominated as “Assistant Treasurer(s)” or “Finance Administrator(s)”. These officer shall perform such duties as are assigned by the Village Treasurer and shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by a majority of Council.
