This Charter became effective from and after the first day of January, 1978, together with all amendments approved by the electorate, and shall continue in effect in the event that Orange Village becomes a city. Without limitation, amendments were passed and became effective January 1, 1982, January 1, 1985, May 5, 1992, January 1, 1997, January 1, 2000, January 1, 2003, July 1, 2004, and January 1, 2006, January 1, 2011, January 1, 2015 and January 1, 2018.
