(A) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue a draft payable to the Recorder of the county to pay for recordings without first filing a claim for such payments.
(B) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the payment of the mailing costs to the U.S. Postmaster and postage for each department as needed without further authorization.
(C) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the payment of the employees of said town which said payments constitute the town payroll without further authorization.
(D) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the refund of water meter deposits to the person, persons, or other entity entitled to receive the same without further authorization.
(E) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for payment of group health, hospitalization, dental, and life insurance, worker’s compensation, unemployment, sales and gross income taxes, retirement, and all payroll deductions, including electronic transfer, without further authorization.
(F) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the payment of invoices presented to the town for materials, equipment, and goods and services previously authorized by the Town Council by accepting a valid bid, quote, or contract for such material, equipment, and goods and services without further authorization.
(G) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the payment of utility bills incurred by the town without further authorization.
(H) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the registration fees and expenses for schooling and conferences incurred by the persons who have permission to attend.
(I) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the registration fee for vehicles, titles, and any excise tax that might be due.
(J) The Clerk-Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to issue drafts from time to time for the payment of expenses that must be paid because of emergency circumstances.
(K) The Clerk-Treasurer drafts as herein set forth shall become effective on the first full billing period occurring after the adoption of this subchapter.
