(A) Temporary residence. Any person who is in the process of constructing a single-family conventional dwelling may apply to the Town Council for a temporary permit for the purpose of placing a mobile home or manufactured home, as defined herein, upon the real estate where the residence is being constructed for temporary living quarters during the period of construction. The applicant must pay a permit fee of $25 to the office of the Clerk-Treasurer when the application is submitted.
(B) Construction office. Any person who is in the process of completing a construction project that requires temporary placement of a manufactured home or mobile home, as defined herein, as a caretaker’s quarters or construction office at the job site until the project is completed may apply to the Town Council for a temporary permit for the purpose of placing said mobile home or manufactured home upon the real estate where the project is taking place. The applicant must pay a permit fee of $25 to the office of the Clerk-Treasurer when the application for the temporary permit is submitted.
(C) Duration of permit. Any such temporary permit, as set forth above, shall be issued for a period of time necessary to complete the job. However, in no event shall the permit exceed one year. (D) Utility requirements. A mobile home used for temporary purposes, as proscribed above, shall have an approved water supply, sewage disposal system, and utility connection. The head of the Sewer and Utilities Department of the town shall inspect said mobile home to determine whether the above utility requirements have been satisfied.
