§ 111.02  AUCTIONEERING.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to pursue the business of auctioneering on any line of merchandise whatsoever without first having obtained a license therefor from the Clerk-Treasurer, for which he or she shall pay the following prices, to wit: for one day: $10; for three days: $20; for one week: $30; for one month: $60; and for each additional month the sum of $50; but no license shall be issued for a longer period than three months.
   (B)   A HAWKER, for the purpose of this chapter, shall be held to be any person who, by solicitation or out-cry, offers for sale or barter anything from any wagon, box, or other temporary stand, unconnected with any established place of business, upon any of the public streets, sidewalks, alleys, or other public grounds of said town. Provided that this section shall not be deemed to include any temporary fruit or vegetable stand, news stand, peanut stand, or confectionery stand.
