(A) Maximum speed limits for portions of Hoosier Avenue and Main Street.
(1) There shall be a uniform speed limit of 30 mph in effect at all times on Main Street from the turn off from Highway 37 east to the intersection with Hoosier Avenue, and on Hoosier Avenue from its intersection with Main Street south all the way to the south town limits. No car, truck, motorcycle, cart, bicycle, or any other type of vehicle of any type, regardless of means of propulsion, shall be driven in excess of said speed limit.
(2) Anyone violating division (A)(1) above shall, upon conviction, be fined up to $50 for each violation, together with any and all other applicable costs and fees.

(B) Speed limits in Rolling Acres subdivision.
(1) No person shall drive or operate a car, automobile, vehicle, motorcycle, moped, bicycle, truck, or other means of conveyance at a speed greater than 20 mph upon any street, highway, lane, drive, or avenue in Rolling Acres, subdivisions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, and in Oolitic Manor, additions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
(2) The Town Council shall cause to be erected and maintained at various points within subdivisions 1 through 9 and within such additions 1 through 13, as the Council may determine, speed limit signs bearing the words “speed limit 20”.

(C) Maximum speed limits and speed limits when children are present.
(1) The maximum speed limit upon all streets and highways (but not including alleys) in the town shall be 20 mph, with the exception of Hoosier Avenue.
(2) The maximum speed limit upon Hoosier Avenue shall be 30 mph, with the exception of the school zone between 8th and 11th Streets where the speed limit shall be reduced at all times to 25 mph while there are children present.

(D) Speed limits in alleys. The maximum speed limit for all vehicular traffic upon any alley in the town shall be ten mph.
