The areas of special flood hazard, areas of flood- related erosion hazards and areas of mudslide (i.e., mudflow) hazards identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency or the Federal Insurance Administration in a scientific and engineering report entitled "Flood Insurance Study for Ontario, California, dated December 2, 1980," with an accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Map, and all later revisions thereof, is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. The Flood Insurance Study is on file in the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 303 East “B” Street, Ontario, California. This Flood Insurance Study is the minimum area of applicability of this chapter and may be supplemented by studies or other areas which allow implementation of this chapter and which are recommended to the City Council by the Floodplain Administrator.
