Sec. 2-3.704. Deposit of moneys: Reports.
   It shall be the duty of every City official and employee receiving any moneys from the public by virtue of his office or employment, for or on behalf of the City, to render an account thereof to the Council on the last day of each month and to pay such moneys to the City Cashier and take a receipt therefor.
