121.04 NOTICE OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS.
   (a)   All meetings of committees of Council are hereby declared to be open to the public. Such meetings shall be called by the chairman or the Mayor at such times as is convenient for the membership. Such meetings shall be called at a regular or special meeting of Council or at such other times by notice to the membership of the committee, the Mayor and to the Clerk of Council. The Clerk is hereby directed to keep a list of the time, date and place of all committee meetings and make the same available to any person upon request. Unless otherwise stated, all meetings shall be held at the Ontario Charles K. and Charlotte M. Hellinger Municipal Building.

   (b)   No meeting shall be held prior to giving twenty-four hours notice to the news media which has requested notification except in the case of an emergency requiring immediate official action. In the event of such an emergency, the Chairman shall notify the news media requesting notification immediately of the date, place and time of the meeting.
 
   (c)   The Chairman shall arrange for the preparation and approval of minutes of all committee meetings. All such minutes shall be filed and maintained by the Clerk and open for public inspection.
 
   (d)   Committees may go into executive sessions in the same manner and for the same reasons that Council may do so under Ohio R.C. 121.22(G).
 
   (e)   Any person who desires advance notice of any committee meeting at which any specific type of business is to be discussed shall state in writing to the Clerk the business which is of interest and shall supply stamped self-addressed envelopes for the purpose of such notice.
