The Fire Chief and his or her authorized representatives are hereby authorized to make inspections of all tenant-occupied or multifamily dwellings, structures or premises, and all secondary or appurtenant structures, to determine whether or not such dwellings, structures or premises conform to the fire prevention and detection provisions of these Codified Ordinances. Such an inspection may also be made whenever the Chief has reasonable cause to believe that a violation of any such provision exists in or on such a dwelling, structure or premises, or if a request for such an inspection is made by a State or Federal agency.
