Whoever violates any provision of this chapter or owns a residential dwelling in which a violation of this chapter occurs shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or an which a violation occurs or continues.
