1464.10 AUTHORITY OF POLICE AND FIREMEN.
   Any person undertaking to move a structure on a public road within the City shall, in applying for a permit, agree that should any duly authorized and appointed police officer or fireman of the City notify such person or any person in his employ of an emergency requiring, in the sole opinion of the officer, that the structure for which the permit was issued be removed from the public roadway, the structure shall be immediately so moved and the City shall be held harmless and shall not be subject to any claim for any damage resulting to such structure, whether or not such officer acted in good faith or with reasonable cause, and the officer shall not be held personally liable if he acted in good faith, whether or not his initial determination was correct. No applicant obtaining a permit shall fail to remove his structure from the roadway upon notification to do so as provided in this section.
