1042.12 MAINTENANCE OF PRIVATE SEWERS; NUISANCES.
   (a)   As used in this section:
      (1)   "Sewer" means a storm and/or a sanitary sewer.
      (2)   "Private sewer" means a sewer that is constructed with or without a permit and paid for by a private person.
   (b)   All private sewers located on private property are the sole responsibility of the property owner and shall be maintained by such owner.
   (c)   Nothing in this section is intended to waive, alter or eliminate, in any way, the rights of the City to eliminate any nuisance that may occur on private property, as that right is allowed to the City by the laws of the State or the ordinances of the City, including, but not limited to, the rights of the City set forth in Sections 660.18, 660.20 and 1042.06 of these Codified Ordinances.
