264.01 ESTABLISHMENT; DUTIES; CONFLICT OF LAWS.

   (a)   There is hereby established a Civil Service Commission for the City, to be known as the Civil Service Commission of Olmsted Falls.

   (b)   The Commission shall perform the duties described in Section 10.05(d) of the City Charter in the manner enumerated in Section 10.05(f) of such Charter.

   (c)   The Civil Service Commission of the City and the civil service system for the City shall be constituted and regulated in a manner consistent with the Charter of the City and the general laws of the State. If there is any conflict between the Charter and the general laws of the State with respect to the make-up of the Commission or the establishment and regulation of the civil service system, the provisions of the Charter shall control.
