Certain part-time personnel shall receive fringe benefits as follows:
(a) A part-time police officer, not including members of the Auxiliary Police Unit or the Special Force, shall be compensated for attendance at meetings duly organized and scheduled by his or her supervisor at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per meeting. In addition, provided such police officer complies with all minimum attendance requirements of such meetings, such police officer shall receive accidental life insurance coverage in the amount of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000), coverage on the City's blanket liability insurance policy (while such police officer is operating a City vehicle on official City business).

(b) Provided a firefighter meets and complies with all minimum attendance requirements of meetings as set forth in Section 255.04, such firefighter shall receive accidental life insurance coverage in the amount of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000), coverage on the City's blanket liability insurance policy (while such firefighter is operating a City vehicle on official City business).

(c) A part-time dispatcher, provided he or she meets all minimum standards and requirements of dispatchers, shall be compensated for attendance at meetings duly organized and scheduled by the Supervisor of such personnel at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per meeting. In addition, part-time dispatchers who meet the twenty hour per week requirement of the Ohio Municipal League Group Life/Accident Plan, and who are also eligible for payroll deduction, shall receive accidental life insurance coverage in the amount of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000). Those part- time dispatchers who do not meet the requirements of the Ohio Municipal League Group Life/Accident Plan shall not be eligible to receive the aforesaid life insurance coverage.

(d) All part-time personnel of the Fire Department are entitled to participate in an accident/sickness plan in accordance with the schedule attached to original Ordinance 49-97, passed May 13, 1997, as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference.
