255.06 FALSE ARREST COVERAGE.

The City shall offer the services of its Law Department to defend a part time police officer involved in a false arrest suit if it has been determined by the Board of Ethics that the officer did not exceed established procedures while performing the arrest. The Board shall investigate an arrest in a manner it deems advisable to make a determination.
