242.19 UNIFORM ALLOWANCES.
   Except as may be otherwise provided in this chapter, uniform allowances for employees of the Fire Department shall be as follows:
   (a)   Each employee of the Fire Department below the rank of Fire Chief shall be issued a full uniform, as required by Departmental rules and regulations, upon initial appointment to the Department, if applicable, or otherwise shall be entitled to an allowance of three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) in 1984 and three hundred seventy-five dollars ($375.00) in 1985, for the purchase of such uniform. Such allowance shall be paid in two equal installments, on January 15 and July 15 of each such year. (Ord. 43-84. Passed 3-26-84.)
   (b)   (EDITOR’S NOTE: Subsection (b) hereof was repealed by implication by Ordinance 151-87, passed December 22, 1987. See Section 242.081(c).)
   (c)   Payment of the clothing allowance provided for herein and in Sections 242.05 and 242.081 for any calendar year shall only be made by the City for legitimate clothing supply bills submitted to the Finance Director not later than December 10 of the particular calendar year in question.
