(a) A Petty Cash Fund of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) is hereby established to assist in the usual daily operation of the Police and Fire Departments.
(b) All expenditures from the Fund shall be verified by receipts which shall be submitted to the Clerk of Council, and upon approval of such expenditures by Council, the Clerk shall replenish the Fund in the amount so approved. Moneys to be credited to the Fund shall be provided from the sums appropriated to the Police and Fire Departments by the annual appropriation ordinance of the City.
(c) All expenditures from the Fund shall be with the approval of the Safety Director who shall be responsible for such Fund.
