224.02 RECORD OF CONTRACTS.
The Clerk of Council shall keep in one place in the City Hall a binder containing an original copy of all of the contracts to which the City is a party, and which still have force and effect. For purposes of record retention management, the Law Director may authorize the destruction of any contracts for which there is no foreseeable future need, but no contract shall be destroyed until more than fifteen years since its expiration, nor shall any contract be destroyed, regardless of its age, which has been made since the last audit made by the State of the records of the Municipality. Copies of resolutions shall be subject to the same records retention program as are copies of contracts. (Ord. 33-71. Passed 7-27-71.)
