(A) All externally originated grant applications must be reviewed and passed by a majority vote of the City Council.
(B) (1) An employee duly qualified and selected by the City Council is permitted to seek availability of and prepare an application for internally originated grants for the benefit of the City of Olive Hill.
(2) The power to further act upon internally originated grant application shall remain vested in the City Council. The city does not permit outside organizations, individuals, or entities to apply for externally generated grants on behalf of the city.
(3) This section shall be determined to be restrictive of all externally generated grants and to restrict internally generated grants only to the extent required by law. All portions of this section not in conflict with Ordinance 2017-09 shall remain in full force and effect.
