(A) Generally. All building constructed in the city shall be built in compliance with the Uniform Commonwealth Building Code and the city has the authority to extend the application of the Commonwealth Building Code and to establish and schedule of fees.
(B) Designated Enforcement Officer. The City Planning Commission shall recommend and the City Mayor shall appoint the Zoning Ordinance Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector for said Commonwealth Building Code subject to the approval of the City Council. All inspections shall be performed by persons certified the Commonwealth Department of Housing, Building, and Construction.
(D) Inconsistencies. Chapter 17.04 shall take precedence in case of inconsistencies.
(E) Effective date. This section shall take effect after its passage and publication.
