(A) All water metering devices shall be accessible to the meter reader.
(B) If the meter is concealed, covered up, or has a structure built over it in such a way as to prevent proper reading of the meter, then such customer shall be in violation of concealment of metering device.
(C) It shall be the responsibility of the meter reader to notify by attaching a standard letter of notification that such device must be made accessible by the next month’s reading or the customer’s service will be disconnected until such time that the meter can be placed in a location accessible to the meter reader.
(D) If it is required that the city move the meter or install a new meter to provide access to the reading of this meter, the customer will be charged the current cost of a water tap fee.
(E) If there is no meter whatsoever, then the customer shall be disconnected and such customer shall have to apply for water service complete with deposit and tap fee.
