§ 12.04.010 GUIDELINES FOR ROADBLOCKS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS.
   (A)   The Mayor may approve six and the City Council may approve six roadblocks for no more than 12 roadblocks per year.
   (B)   All fundraising projects shall be organizations that benefit a large portion of the community.
   (C)   No one under 18 years of age shall participate in roadblock activities. All persons under 18 years of age must remain on the sidewalk and out of city streets.
   (D)   Roadblocks shall be at two locations only and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
   (E)   Organizations desiring to set up a roadblock for fundraising must submit a written letter of request stating the purpose, date, starting time and ending time of the roadblock.
   (F)   No fundraising roadblocks shall be held without written permission from the Chief of Police or Mayor.
   (G)   All fundraising roadblock applications shall be submitted by March 1 of every calendar year.
   (H)   All fundraising roadblocks shall have large signs clearly stating the purpose of the roadblock.
   (I)   Any and all liability of activities for a fundraising roadblock shall rest with the organization hosting the fundraiser and not the City of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
   (J)   Roadblock participants shall wear reflective vests. The city will provide vests if participants do not have their own. The vests must be returned to the city on the following business day. Should a participant fail to return their vest, they shall reimburse the city at its actual replacement cost.
   (K)   Anyone in violation will no longer be eligible for roadblock permit.
