(A) There shall be no parking in a no parking zone as indicated by a yellow painted curb, no parking sign, or any other sign or device that indicates no parking.
(B) There shall be no parking against the flow of traffic, such as parking on the left side of the street, unless it is indicated otherwise by sign, device or painted parking space on a one-way street.
(C) There shall be no parking in such a manner as to occupy more than one parking space per vehicle (parking across white line).
(D) There shall be no overtime parking in such parking spaces that have a specific time limit as indicated by a sign or other device.
(E) There shall be no parking adjacent to a fire hydrant.
(F) There shall be no parking in such a manner as to block a driveway, business entrance or alley.
(G) There shall be no parking on or across any sidewalk.
(H) There shall be no parking in a space indicated for specific use by an official sign placed by or approved by the city as for other than general parking except by those authorized to use such spaces. This would include, but not be limited to, such spaces as loading zones, emergency vehicle parking or patient parking only.
(I) There shall be no parking in such a manner as to impede or block the normal flow of traffic.
(J) There shall be no parking in handicapped parking spaces on public streets or private parking areas provided for public use by merchants, retailers, professional, or other business, unless the person is handicapped within the meaning of KRS 186.041, 186.042 or 189.456 and have a handicapped license plate or permit properly displayed on their vehicle.
(K) There shall be no parking in such a manner as to block sidewalk access ramps for the handicapped.
(L) Parking tickets for a violation of this section shall be paid to the Utility Clerk at City Hall within 48 hours of receipt or mailed to City Hall with a postmark no later than 48 hours from the violation notice if the ticket is not paid within 48 hours, the fines shall be doubled. If the ticket is not paid, the violator is to be cited to District Court.
(M) This section shall take effect after its passage and upon publication.
(N) (1) Violation of division (A) shall be punishable by a fine of $25.
(2) Violation of division (B) shall be punishable by a fine of $25.
(3) Violation of division (C) shall be punishable by a fine of $25.
(4) Violation of division (D) shall be punishable by a fine of $25.
(5) Violation of division (E) shall be punishable by a fine of $30.
(6) Violation of division (F) shall be punishable by a fine of $30.
(7) Violation of division (G) shall be punishable by a fine of $30.
(8) Violation of division (H) shall be punishable by a fine of $30.
(9) Violation of division (I) shall be punishable by a fine of $45.
(10) Violation of division (J) shall be punishable by a fine of $55.
(11) Violation of division (K) shall be punishable by a fine of $55.
