§ 7.04.030 NUISANCES AFFECTING PEACE AND SAFETY.
   The following are hereby declared to be public nuisances effecting public peace and safety:
   (A)   All limbs of trees which project over a public sidewalk or street and which are less than eight feet above the surface of the public sidewalk and nine feet above the surface of the street;
   (B)   All wires over streets, alleys, or public grounds which are not authorized or permitted by the city or which are strung so that the lowest portion is less than 15 feet above the surface of the ground;
   (C)   All buildings, walls, and other structures which have been damaged by fire, decay, or otherwise and which are so situated as to endanger the safety of the public, or which are otherwise built, erected, or maintained in violation of this subchapter or any other ordinance, including blighted buildings;
   (D)   All explosives, flammable liquids, or other dangerous substances stored in any manner inconsistent with accepted safety practices;
   (E)   All hanging signs, awnings, canopies, or other similar structures over the streets or sidewalks so situated or constructed as to endanger public safety or to be contrary to the planning and zoning ordinance;
   (F)   Any abandoned and/or junk motor vehicle;
   (G)   Such other actions, conduct, omissions, conditions, or things defined or specified in this code of ordinances as nuisances or as public nuisances;
   (H)   Any nuisance or public nuisance known to the common law and/or the statutes of the commonwealth as nuisances or public nuisances; and
   (I)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to civil fines pursuant to, and as set out in § 2.48.030 (an ordinance for the establishment of a Code Enforcement Board). Enforcement of this chapter shall be pursuant to § 2.48.030 and by the City’s Code Enforcement Board.
