For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
NUISANCE.
(1) Any act or omission to act, any thing, occupation, condition, or use of property (whether real or personal) which act or omission does any one or more of the following:
(a) Injures or endangers the safety, health, or well being of the public; or
(b) Unlawfully interferes with, obstructs, or tends to obstruct, or renders dangerous for passage any street, alley, highway, body of water, or other public way.
(2) In addition to what is declared in this subchapter to be a nuisance, those offenses which are known to the common law and statutes of commonwealth as public nuisances may be treated as such and be proceeded against as is provided in this subchapter or any other ordinance or in accordance with any other provision of law.
PERSON. Any person, firm, corporation, association, or other entity.
