The use or sale of consumer fireworks, as defined in KRS 227.702, is prohibited except as set forth herein. The use or sale of any fireworks other than consumer fireworks, including display fireworks as defined in KRS 227.706, are subject to the applicable restrictions of state and federal law, and are further prohibited at all times within the county without written approval of the County Judge-Executive or their designee.
