§ 150.041 POWER TO INVESTIGATE STRUCTURES AND OBTAIN EVIDENCE.
   The Fiscal Court shall be vested with those powers as are necessary or convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of this subchapter, including powers in addition to others herein granted, to:
   (A)   Investigate structural conditions of any structure within the county and the City of Crestwood to determine whether the same is a hazard to public health, safety or morals or otherwise inimical to the welfare of residents of the county;
   (B)   To administer oaths, examine witnesses and receive evidence;
   (C)   To enter upon the premises the subject of any complaint for the purposes of making examinations, but the entry shall be made in a manner as cause the least possible inconvenience to persons in possession;
   (D)   Appoint and fix the duties of those officers, agents and employees as deemed necessary to carry out the purposes of this subchapter; and
   (E)   To delegate any of its functions and powers under this subchapter to those officers and agents as may be designated.
