The purpose of this subchapter is to protect the public safety through the following objectives: encourage alarm users to assume increased responsibility for maintaining the mechanical reliability and proper use of alarms systems; to prevent the unnecessary response of emergency responder personnel to false alarms, and preserve the emergency response capability of the County Emergency Services.
