16.24.140: MONUMENTS:
Concrete monuments, four inches (4") in diameter or four inches (4") square and thirty inches (30") long with one-half inch (1/2") metal reinforcing rod running the length of the monument, shall be placed with the top flush to the ground at all quarter section points within or on the boundary of the subdivision. Metal rods, three-fourths inch (3/4") in diameter and twenty four inches (24") long placed flush with the ground, shall be placed at each corner of every block or portion of a block, at points of curvature and points of tangency on street lines, at each angle point on the boundary of the subdivision, and at all lot corners. In situations where conditions prohibit the placing of markers in the locations prescribed, offset markers will be permitted. The exact location of all markers shall be shown on the final plat, together with accurate interior angles, bearings, and distances. (Ord. 1070 § 5.8, 1964)
