The water and sewer department shall cause the personnel of the water and sewer department to make regular inspections of the fire hydrants in the AG district to determine whether the water pressure at the hydrants is maintained at maximum pressure, and shall have the personnel keep records of such inspections in the water and sewer department offices. The water and sewer department shall train a sufficient number of employees of the water and sewer department in the handling of oil field fires or emergencies, and shall assign certain employees of the fire department to regular duty in connection with maintaining sufficient water pressure of facilities in the AG district, and shall assign others to be in readiness and to act in cases where fires or other emergencies occur in the area.
