14.12.080: WELL ACCESS ROADS:
All ingress and egress roads to permit areas must be approved prior to the issuance of any permit. Such roads may or may not be contained wholly within the zoning district where the well is located, but all such roads shall be sealed so as to prevent wind and water erosion or the generation of dust from traffic on the access road. Access roads may not intersect a public street within one hundred twenty five feet (125') of the intersection of another public street with the public street from which access is to be gained, as measured from the nearest edge of the intersecting public street and the access road. Further, the first fifty feet (50') of the access road as measured from the edge of the public road with which it intersects must be paved with asphaltic or Portland concrete so as to prevent dirt, mud, and other debris from being carried by vehicles onto the public streets. Roads constructed under permits issued on or after November 1, 2009, must not be wholly or partially within residentially zoned districts, but may be in agricultural, industrial, or commercial districts, in whole or in part. (Ord. 1939 § 3, 2009)
