The chief of the fire department shall check the derrick and equipment operated or maintained in connection with each well to determine if they are maintained or operated in a safe condition from a structural standpoint. Discrepancies noted shall be detailed in writing and forwarded to the well operators. Discrepancies noted must be corrected within thirty (30) days of the date of notification. (Ord. 1369 § 4A, 1979)
