14.08.040: LICENSE REQUIRED:
It is unlawful and an offense for any person to operate or maintain any well for the purpose of production of petroleum and/or natural gas therefrom within the corporate limits of the city without first paying to the city treasurer the fee provided in section 14.08.030 of this chapter and obtaining a license from the city clerk. (Ord. 1369 § 3D, 1979)
