14.04.020: CONFORMANCE WITH OTHER ORDINANCES:
For the purposes of the protection of lives and persons of the city, and of the public generally, and the protection of property from the danger of fire, explosion, gas, public nuisances and other hazards dangerous to public peace, health and safety as a result of the drilling for and production of petroleum and natural gas within the city, it is unlawful and an offense for any person, firm or corporation or any individual, either for himself or acting as agent, employee, or servant of any other person, firm or corporation, to engage in any work, or to erect any structures, tanks, machinery pipelines, or other appurtenances incident to the drilling for or production of petroleum or natural gas, or to operate, maintain or permit to exist, any equipment, structures or appurtenances incident to such production, or to use or maintain any property or premises in violation of any of the terms of these regulations.
