13.42.230: APPLICATION:
   A.   If any section, clause, provision or portion of this chapter is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this chapter shall not be affected thereby. It is the intent that these provisions be liberally construed in favor of the city; and deemed neither to limit nor repeal any other powers granted under statute.
   B.   It is not intended by this chapter to repeal, abrogate, or impair any existing easements, covenants or deed restrictions. However, where this chapter and another ordinance conflict or overlap, whichever imposes the more stringent restrictions shall prevail. All other ordinances inconsistent with this chapter are hereby repealed to the extent of their inconsistency only.
   C.   In the interpretation and application, the provisions of this chapter shall be considered as minimum requirements as determined by the city and deemed neither to limit nor repeal any other powers granted under state statutes. (Ord. 1969, 2011)
