A. No person shall bring a dog or pet into, permit a pet to enter or remain, or possess a pet unless said animal is leashed, caged, confined in a vehicle, or otherwise restrained, so as to be under the direct physical control of a person. (Verbal control is not implied.) Any dog found running loose or which may be chasing or running any game may be destroyed in conformance with title 6, chapter 6.20 of this Code.
B. No person shall bring a pet into, permit a pet to enter or remain, or possess any pet at any swimming pool or controlled beach area. Nor will any pet be allowed to swim at or around any marina or fishing dock.
C. No person shall bring a dog or cat into, permit to enter or remain, or possess a dog or cat unless the person can present proof that the said dog or cat has a current, valid rabies inoculation including the name of the serum used and the date of the inoculation.
D. No person shall keep a noisy, vicious, or otherwise dangerous animal, or one which is disturbing to other persons, and allow said animal to remain therein if directed by any Okmulgee State Park official to remove said animal.
E. Subsections A and B of this section shall not apply to all certified service animals used to guide the person to whom the animal has been registered while using facilities, providing that said animal shall remain under the immediate control of the person to whom the animal has been registered.
