The purpose of this title is to establish a system of rules and regulations to control activity on Okmulgee Lake and Dripping Springs Lake. Unless a rule or regulation is restricted specifically to either Okmulgee Lake or Dripping Springs Lake, it shall apply to both. When reference is made to Okmulgee Lake or to Dripping Springs Lake, it shall mean not only the body or bodies of water so designated, but shall include the shore and land area or areas surrounding same and owned by the City.
A. Any references herein to the Okmulgee State Park or State park official are hereby designated to refer to the Okmulgee Lake, and its official shall be the City Manager, Okmulgee law enforcement or its designee.
B. The City Council may from time to time impose usage fees or permits for continued operating expenses at Okmulgee Lake and/or Dripping Springs Lake. Failure to pay said fees shall be a violation of this chapter and shall be subject to citation and fine imposed in this title. (Ord. 2098, 2017: Ord. 1930 § 2, 2008)
