10.04.160: OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES:
"Official traffic control devices" means all signs, barricades, signals, marking and devices not inconsistent with this title placed or erected by authority of a public body or official having jurisdiction, for the purpose of regulating, warning or guiding traffic. (Ord. 1013 § 2(15), 1962)
