Every person, firm or corporation applying for a permit under this chapter shall submit, concurrently with the submission of this application to the city building inspector, a bond with good and sufficient corporate surety to be approved by the city manager. The bond to be conditioned upon applicant's compliance with all the provision of all applicable city ordinances and agreeing to save the city harmless from any claim demand or suit which may be made against it by reason of the suit and occupation of any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place by such building or structure, and further conditioned that the city shall be compensated for any damage or loss sustained to its property, city streets, water mains or otherwise as a result of the moving of such building upon and over the public properties, streets, alleys and sidewalks of the city.
