1.12.070: ESTABLISHMENT OF POLICE DEPARTMENT TRAINING AND EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT:
There is hereby established a police department training and equipment account to be funded annually by appropriations of available funds derived from a portion of the monies actually paid and collected as community service administrative fees equal to the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) per each conviction or case. Funds appropriated to the police department training and equipment account shall be used to pay the cost of training required by the United States, the state of Oklahoma and/or the city and/or the cost of equipment required by the United States, the state of Oklahoma and/or the city. Funds appropriated to the police department training and equipment account shall not be used to pay wages, supplements to wages or for instructor's pay. Funds appropriated to the police department training and equipment account and not encumbered prior to the end of any fiscal year, shall be available for other purposes as may be determined by the city.
