5-2-8: OPEN BURNING FOR DEPARTMENT TRAINING:
Notwithstanding any other provision of this code or of the fire prevention code, open burning of refuse or other combustible material may be conducted for fires purposely set for the training of personnel of the fire department when authorized in advance by the city manager. (Ord. 97-2, 7-1-1997)
