2-1-1: BOARD CREATED; MEMBERSHIP; APPOINTMENT; COMPENSATION; COUNCIL MAY SERVE AS:
There is hereby created a board of directors for the government and control of the public library to consist of not less than five (5) members, appointed by the mayor, by and with the consent of the city council. The directors shall serve without compensation. The city council may serve as the library board in lieu of appointing a board of directors. (2015 Code § 11-202; amd. 2016 Code)
