A. General Provisions: The purpose and intent of this chapter is to establish and provide minimum acceptable standards, requirements and regulations for the planned use, development, and maintenance of travel trailers, campers, and recreational vehicles within the corporate limits of the city of Oilton, to include both freestanding and those located in an RV park, in the interest of the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents.
B. Definitions:
PERMITTEE: Any person to whom a permit has been issued within the scope of this chapter.
RV HOME PARK: Land or property that is used or intended to be used or rented for occupancy by campers, travel trailers or recreational vehicles, including all necessary utilities, streets, and other common amenities.
TRAVEL TRAILER: For the purpose of this chapter, a travel trailer is hereby defined and declared to be any vehicle modified, used or so constructed as to permit its being used as a dwelling or sleeping place, which is or may be mounted on wheels, and is or may be propelled by its own power or by another vehicle to which it may be attached.
