§ 31.09 SHERIFF’S MERIT BOARD.
   (A)   The County Council adopts a Sheriff’s Merit Board under the provisions of I.C. 36-8-10-3 as the same became effective with the passage of Senate Enrolled Act 223 effective April 1, 1971.
   (B)   The County Sheriff is empowered to sign the necessary papers for the adoption of such plans.
