This division shall be known as the OPERATION OF WATERCRAFT ON FLOODWATERS ORDINANCE. It is the public policy of Ogle County to promote the safety of persons and property in and connected with the use and operation of watercraft and to preserve and protect the rights and property of persons owning real estate adjacent to the Rock River. This division shall apply to the public waters of those parts of the Rock River located in Ogle County not under the jurisdiction of any municipality. (1982 Code)
