8-7-7: ZONE MANAGEMENT:
Upon designation as an enterprise zone by the Illinois department of commerce and community affairs, a management organization known as the "Lee County enterprise zone advisory board" comprised of designated representatives and alternates of the Lee County board, city of Amboy, village of Ashton, city of Dixon, village of Franklin Grove, Lee County Industrial Development Association and village of Paw Paw. This organization will be the governing body of the enterprise zone and will be responsible for all decisions within the zone. The zone administrator will be the individual who will be responsible for the day to day implementations within the zone and will be the liaison between the management organization, the economic development committee and the Illinois department of commerce and community affairs. The county of Ogle hereby waives and relinquishes any right to: a) participate as a member of the management organization, and b) review and vote upon any amendments to the enterprise zone ordinance or to the intergovernmental agreement, provided that the enterprise zone does not expand into areas of Ogle County other than those described in section 8-7-1 of this division. However, the county of Ogle shall pass any amendments affecting unincorporated Lee County, the city of Amboy, the village of Ashton, the city of Dixon, the village of Franklin Grove and the village of Paw Paw, but only after each of these bodies have approved such amendments.
