A person accused of a violation under this division shall be released upon the affixing of their signature to the traffic citation which shall indicate their promise to comply with all orders of the court and their promise to appear in the court on the time and date as indicated upon the ticket or in the alternative, promise to pay to the clerk of the circuit court in the traffic division, the fine as set forth in this provision.
