A person violating any provision of this division shall be fined according to the following table as to the amount of weight excess of the posted limit:

5,001 lbs. to 7,000 lbs. | 350.00 |
Over 7,001 lbs. | 500.00 |
An imposition of supervision, a fine, or both, may be imposed by the court upon the recommendation of the state's attorney.
Fines collected under this provision shall be remitted to the treasurer of the county. (Ord., 6-16-1992)
